Job Description

AnaVation is seeking a Software Engineer to join their team in Reston, VA, supporting a mission-critical customer. The role involves providing technical support in all phases of software development, integrating new data sources, automating operations, and conducting system-level integration. The position requires on-site work with core hours from 9 AM to 3 PM, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and document new system capabilities
• Support and maintain existing infrastructure and applications
• Integrate new data sources into secure mission systems
• Perform database management and system configuration
• Automate operations in cloud and Linux environments
• Conduct system-level integration
• Execute system testing and support application development lifecycle

Requirements

• TS/SCI Eligible, willing to obtain polygraph
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 10 years of experience
• DoD 8570 IAT II and CSSP Infrastructure Support certifications
• Experience with software development in Linux environments
• Experience with Git, GitHub, PHP, JavaScript, Python, and REST API development
• Expertise in Bash scripting and Ansible automation
• Strong teamwork, communication, and initiative skills
