Job Description

E11 Bio is seeking a spatial ‘omics scientist to co-develop next-generation technology for high-throughput connectomic imaging using molecular barcodes. The role involves developing innovative methods for highly-multiplexed imaging, designing experiments, analyzing data, and presenting results.

Responsibilities

  • Develop proteomics methods for highly multiplexed detection
  • Develop signal amplification methods
  • Design probe sets and combinatorial imaging experiments
  • Integrate automatic liquid handling and fluorescence imaging
  • Process and analyze multiplexed image volumes
  • Collaborate with scientists to design experiments and analyze data
  • Maintain laboratory notebook practices and prepare reports

Requirements

  • PhD in biology or related field
  • 0-6 years of experience post-PhD
  • Experience with 3D spatial transcriptomics and/or spatial proteomics
  • Experience with spatial methods/protocol development
  • Experience with fluorescence microscope modalities
  • Experience with molecular biology laboratory techniques
