Job Description

This Business Analyst position involves analyzing, designing, and providing consulting support to clients in the Finance and Energy markets. The role requires bridging the gap between users and developers, documenting business needs, and assisting in the implementation of IT applications, specifically with OpenLink. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of consulting methodologies and experience in the financial services/Energy industry.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and document client meetings/workshops
• Develop and evaluate procedures, controls, and requirements
• Document business data and architectures
• Resolve software defects and ensure user satisfaction
• Analyze and propose enhancements to business processes
• Conduct customer interviews and produce summaries
• Conduct market research and industry analysis
• Produce consulting deliverables
• Generate reusable intellectual capital
• Basic scripting and project plans

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
• Experience with OpenLink implementation
• Experience configuring and extending OpenLink
• Solid Business Analyst skills
• Experience leading testing and training exercises
• Ability to troubleshoot issues
• Strong presentation skills
• Experience writing project proposals
• Project management skills
• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Business, or Financial Engineering
