Job Description

Anaplan is seeking an experienced Enterprise Account Executive to focus on selling into the retail industry. This role involves identifying business process improvements, navigating complex prospect environments, and driving digital transformation through Anaplan's connected planning solution. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of selling sophisticated technology solutions and managing accounts, with a focus on hunting new logo accounts and expanding within existing customers.

Responsibilities

  • Engaging with prospects to identify business process issues
  • Building business value throughout the sales engagement
  • Conducting presentations to Director through C-suite level decision makers
  • Developing customers and managing opportunities
  • Applying value-based selling methodology
  • Identifying account expansion opportunities
  • Performing strategic sales planning and forecasting
  • Collaborating with Sales Development, Marketing, Solution Consultants, and Customer Success teams

Requirements

  • 5+ years of consultative sales experience in Fortune 2000 companies
  • Success selling to VP/SVP level buyers
  • History of exceeding sales quota with high-value deals
  • Demonstrated network in the industry
  • Experience with partner and internal team organizations
  • Domain understanding of Supply Chain, FP&A, Workforce Planning, and Sales
  • Strong opportunity management skills
  • Experience selling into Retail accounts
