Job Description

Anaplan is seeking a Major Account Executive to drive growth and digital transformation by selling their AI-infused scenario planning platform to large organizations within the Technology, Media, and Telco sectors. This role involves managing strategic accounts, building customer value, and achieving revenue targets with support from a cross-functional team.

Responsibilities

  • Engaging with prospects to identify business process issues
  • Building business value throughout the sales engagement
  • Conducting presentations to executives
  • Developing account and opportunity plans
  • Applying value-based selling methodology
  • Identifying account expansion opportunities
  • Performing strategic sales planning
  • Collaborating with Sales Development, Marketing, Solution Consultants, and Customer Success teams

Requirements

  • 8+ years of consultative sales experience in Fortune 2000 companies
  • Experience selling SaaS solutions
  • Experience selling into financial business services accounts
  • Success selling to C-Suite executives
  • Track record of overachieving quota and closing large deals
  • Strong executive network in the relevant industry
  • Experience with partner and internal team organizations
  • BS/BA degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field
