Job Description

VTEX is seeking a Contract Strategy Specialist to oversee and streamline contract review and management processes in the U.S. This role will ensure efficient contract reviews, risk identification, and support for internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong contracts management experience and the ability to balance legal risk with business priorities.

Responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate commercial agreements
• Ensure contracts align with company policies and compliance
• Manage the end-to-end contract lifecycle
• Optimize and train teams on the contract management system
• Ensure adherence to global practices and internal controls
• Partner with Sales, Finance, and Operations
• Act as a point of escalation for contract-related questions
• Provide training and guidance on contract policies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; JD or paralegal certification preferred
• 3+ years of experience in legal operations or contracts management
• Bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction preferred
• Understanding of commercial contract terms
• Excellent communication and cross-functional skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Experience with contract management systems is a plus
• Spanish and/or Portuguese proficiency is a plus
