Job Description

Moloco is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Data Platform team, responsible for building and maintaining the core data infrastructure that supports all data-driven products and analytics. The role involves designing, developing, and operating scalable, reliable, and secure data platform components, defining technical direction, and mentoring other engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and operation of data platform services
• Architect scalable systems for data lineage, cataloging, and access management
• Collaborate with ML, product, and infrastructure teams
• Define and implement data governance and compliance frameworks
• Drive improvements in system reliability and scalability
• Contribute to the strategic roadmap for the data platform
• Mentor engineers and champion best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or higher in Computer Science or related field
• 4+ years of experience in software engineering or data infrastructure development
• Strong programming skills in Golang, Python, or Java
• Deep understanding of distributed systems and data modeling
• Proven experience with data governance and access control
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native data platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure)
• Strong system design and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
