Job Description

Moloco is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and optimize distributed data systems for their advertising platform. The role involves collaborating with Product, ML, and Data Science teams to enable feature engineering, identity resolution, and user signal enrichment.

Responsibilities

• Design and build large-scale distributed systems for data ingestion, transformation, and serving
• Partner with ML and Serving teams to support feature engineering workflows
• Contribute to Feature Infra / Feature Store evolution
• Collaborate on Identity Graph construction
• Improve system observability, resilience, and performance
• Mentor engineers and define best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Experience with Java, Kotlin, Go, C++, C#, or Python
• Experience designing and building large-scale distributed systems
• Experience with data processing frameworks like Apache Beam, Dataflow, or Spark
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
• Experience with data storage technologies (BigQuery, Bigtable, Redis, GCS, Kafka, Pub/Sub)
