Job Description

Moloco is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join their Ads Data Platform team, responsible for building and evolving the core data infrastructure that powers data-driven products and analytics. The role involves defining the technical vision, leading architectural design, driving cross-team initiatives, and mentoring engineers to ensure the data infrastructure scales with the growing Ads ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the technical roadmap and architecture for the Ads Data Platform
• Lead the design and evolution of core data platform services
• Partner with leaders to establish data governance and compliance frameworks
• Build and scale high-reliability data systems
• Influence engineering culture with best practices
• Drive cross-org initiatives to improve data quality
• Mentor senior engineers
• Act as a technical advisor to leadership

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 8+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on data infrastructure
• Experience designing and scaling large-scale data platforms
• Proficiency in Golang, Python, or Java
• Understanding of distributed systems and data modeling
• Experience with cloud data platforms and data orchestration frameworks
• Ability to lead complex technical initiatives
• Excellent communication skills
