Job Description

Moloco is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain the backend of their Moloco Commerce Media (MCM) product, an ML-based online advertising platform for the retail media industry. The role involves building and maintaining core APIs, integrating billing flows, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver a scalable and reliable enterprise-ready solution.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems for Moloco Commerce Media
• Build and maintain core APIs for ad campaign lifecycle
• Deploy reporting and analytics APIs
• Integrate billing and invoicing flows
• Design scalable and reliable services
• Collaborate with PM, data science, and partner teams
• Mentor other engineers
• Explore and prototype next-generation features

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Experience with Go, Java, or Python
• Experience with enterprise SaaS applications
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Experience in advertising or e-commerce domains
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems
• System design and development skills
• Experience with Cloud/Big Data platforms (AWS, GCE, GCP, etc.)
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Growth mindset and excellent communication skills
