Job Description

The Account Executive (SMB Land) is responsible for driving revenue growth within the small-to-medium business segment. This involves high-velocity prospecting, pipeline creation, and full-cycle deal management, engaging directly with SMB prospects to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect high volumes of new leads
  • Qualify inbound interest
  • Develop expertise in Diligent’s GRC SaaS platform
  • Apply a solution-selling approach
  • Manage end-to-end sales cycle using MEDDICC
  • Leverage sales tools (Salesforce, SalesLoft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Gong)
  • Maintain accurate CRM data and forecasts

Requirements

  • 3–6+ years of SaaS sales experience
  • Track record of exceeding annual targets
  • Experience closing high-velocity SaaS deals
  • Strong curiosity and empathy
  • Excellent storytelling and communication skills
  • Resilient, competitive, and adaptable
  • Strong organization and attention to detail
