Job Description

The Account Manager is responsible for client success and revenue growth by leading existing clients through software solution upgrades and migrations. This role requires a consultative approach, strong planning and communication skills, and a focus on both revenue retention and expansion.

Responsibilities

  • Perform sales activities from outreach to closing deals
  • Utilize Challenger, Gap Sales, and Command of the Message sales methodologies
  • Position benefits of software upgrades
  • Exceed targets for upgrades, retention, and expansion sales
  • Establish expertise in Diligent products and client businesses
  • Maintain understanding of competitive conditions
  • Provide feedback on product and market behaviors

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets
  • SaaS industry sales background
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce
  • Ability to quickly learn product knowledge
