Diligent is seeking a strategic operator to serve as the force multiplier for the CTO and Engineering Leadership Team. This role will architect the operational rhythm of the Engineering organization, elevate decision quality through data, drive cross-functional initiatives, and build systems for predictable, high-quality delivery at scale. Responsibilities

• Architect and own Engineering operating cadence
• Drive fiscal and resource governance
• Draft strategic memos and alignment messages
• Define Engineering success metrics
• Own the Engineering Performance Dashboard
• Lead data-driven interventions
• Maintain a portfolio view of engineering initiatives
• Standardize delivery frameworks
• Oversee cross-functional programs
• Optimize engineering tooling and workflows
• Partner to evaluate and implement AI-driven tools
• Serve as a cross-functional glue
• Lead horizontal initiatives
• Manage operational budgets and vendor relationships
• Mentor and develop Engineering Operations staff
• Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement

Requirements

• 8–10+ years in Engineering Operations, Technical Program Management, or Software Engineering leadership in a high-growth SaaS environment
• Strong understanding of SDLC, agile methodologies, CI/CD, and microservices architecture
• Advanced analytical skills with expertise in data tools
• Experience driving AI-related innovation
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
• Success improving engineering processes and alignment
• Experience defining operational frameworks and KPI systems
