Job Description

STR is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to design and implement CI/CD pipelines, support AWS toolsets, maintain CI/CD environments, and advocate for DevOps fundamentals within Agile software teams focused on developing mission-critical software for defense and intelligence customers.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines
• Support AWS toolsets
• Maintain CI/CD environments
• Configure environments for performance, security, and alerting
• Ensure infrastructure compliance with DoD standards
• Advocate for and educate engineers on DevOps fundamentals

Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance and US Citizenship
• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related field
• 5-7+ years of relevant experience
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Podman)
• Kubernetes management experience (EKS, Rancher)
• Linux System Administration knowledge
• Python and Linux Shell knowledge
• Cyber Security fundamentals knowledge
