Job Description

STR is seeking a Lead Algorithm Developer to develop disruptive technologies focused on target tracking and prediction. The role involves creating and implementing algorithms, conducting experiments, collaborating with teams, and interacting with customers to solve challenging national security problems.

Responsibilities

• Develop algorithms for target tracking and prediction
• Design and conduct experiments and analysis
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary project teams
• Interact with customers
• Explore datasets and develop algorithmic techniques
• Perform experiment design, performance modeling and simulation
• Communicate technical foundations of models and algorithms

Requirements

• PhD or equivalent experience in a scientific field
• Experience with tracking technologies (MHT or related)
• Expertise in C++ programming
• Proficiency in systems simulation, Monte Carlo methods, and data structures
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
• U.S. citizenship
