Job Description

STR is seeking a GNC Algorithms expert to develop cutting-edge technologies for national security. The role involves developing and analyzing aerospace GNC systems, implementing algorithms in Python, C/C++, and/or MATLAB, and participating in testing and data analysis. A successful candidate will be part of a collaborative team focused on impactful technologies.

Responsibilities

• Developing advanced control system algorithms for aerospace applications
• Developing algorithms for sensor and system research
• Developing and analyzing aerospace GNC systems
• Implementing models and algorithms in Python, C/C++, and/or MATLAB
• Working in small teams
• Participating in laboratory and field tests
• Communicating technical ideas through reports and presentations

Requirements

• M.S. in Aerospace, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field, or B.S. + 3 years equivalent experience
• Active Top Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship
• Proficiency in C/C++, Python and/or MATLAB
• Experience in implementing aerospace control algorithms, filters and models
• Experience developing and giving technical presentations
