Job Description

STR’s Cyber Division is seeking a Senior FPGA Reverse Engineer to leverage their digital hardware design background to solve problems surrounding FPGA reverse engineering. The role involves reverse engineering FPGA applications, developing software to improve the process, and presenting findings to internal teams and customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform FPGA reverse engineering to identify behavioral details
• Model, test, and document RE findings
• Prepare reports and presentations for customers
• Identify new areas for tool development
• Develop software supporting FPGA reverse engineering
• Participate in design reviews and testing

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship required for Top Secret security clearance
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering with 5+ years experience
• Strong problem solving skills
• Familiarity with Verilog, SystemVerilog, or VHDL
• Familiarity with FPGA design process
• Comfort with digital design and logic concepts
• Software development experience in Python and/or C/C++
