Job Description

STR’s Cyber Division is seeking a Senior FPGA Reverse Engineer to leverage their digital hardware design background to solve unique problems surrounding FPGA reverse engineering. The role involves reverse engineering FPGA applications, developing software to improve the process, and presenting findings to internal teams and customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform FPGA reverse engineering to identify behavioral details
• Model, test, and document RE findings
• Prepare reports and presentations for customers
• Identify new areas for tool development
• Develop software supporting FPGA reverse engineering
• Participate in design reviews and testing

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering/Electrical & Computer Engineering with 5+ years of experience
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Top Secret (TS) security clearance
• Strong problem solving skills
• Familiarity with hardware description languages (Verilog, SystemVerilog, VHDL)
• Familiarity with FPGA design process
• Comfort with digital design and logic concepts
• Software development experience (Python and/or C/C++)
• Ability to prepare and present technical material
