Job Description

STR is seeking a Software Reverse Engineer with a passion for researching and analyzing vulnerabilities in cyber physical systems. The role involves reverse engineering software and firmware, developing cybersecurity solutions, and performing vulnerability weaponization. Work must be performed onsite.

Responsibilities

• Reverse engineering software/firmware
• Developing automated reverse engineering tools
• Developing cybersecurity solutions
• Vulnerability weaponization and exploit development
• Documenting and presenting research
• Solving real-world problems impacting national security

Requirements

• Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance and U.S. citizenship
• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related field
• Experience with binary analysis
• Experience with disassembly tools (IDA Pro, Binary Ninja, Ghidra)
• Proficiency in C/C++, Python, and Assembly Languages
• Understanding of reverse engineering fundamentals
