Job Description

STR is seeking an experienced software engineer to collaborate with high-performance teams to solve national security challenges using novel technologies. The Lead Software Engineer will operationalize machine learning algorithms and support production-level systems, working closely with engineers and researchers to design cutting-edge solutions.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain infrastructure including data pipeline architecture
• Architect and implement integration capabilities and workflows
• Automate manual processes and optimize system performance
• Monitor system performance and mitigate issues
• Perform system testing

Requirements

• BS, MS, or PhD in a related field or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of software development experience
• Proficiency in Python
• Experience with cloud computing platforms
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Working knowledge of Linux and shell scripting
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
