Job Description

SixGen is seeking a Senior Cyber Operator to support cyber and intelligence missions by conducting research, assessments, and simulating adversaries to identify and overcome cybersecurity vulnerabilities. The role involves penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and providing actionable recommendations to clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight recommendations
• Perform internal and external pentests
• Perform phishing assessments
• Perform vulnerability risk assessment
• Conduct penetration testing of web applications
• Analyze application architecture and source code
• Document and communicate findings
• Stay up to date with evolving threat trends

Requirements

• 2 years leadership experience
• 2 years independently conducting red team exercises
• 2 years mentoring junior/mid-level operators
• 2 years hands-on experience with penetration testing frameworks
• Strong communication skills
• Experience with scripting and payload crafting
• 5+ years web application penetration testing experience
• OSCP or equivalent certification preferred
• Experience with OSINT gathering
• Experience building offensive capabilities
• Familiarity with FISMA and NIST 800-series frameworks
• CRTO certification required
