Job Description

CX2 is seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Manufacturing Engineer to develop, optimize, and maintain manufacturing processes for efficient, high-quality, and cost-effective production. The role involves process design, production support, tooling/equipment management, cross-functional collaboration, and quality/compliance.

Responsibilities

• Design and refine manufacturing processes
• Analyze production workflows for improvement
• Develop process parameters and SOPs
• Resolve tooling, equipment, and material issues
• Monitor KPIs and recommend corrective actions
• Provide technical support during NPI
• Specify and design tools and fixtures
• Integrate automation solutions
• Manage equipment procurement and validation
• Collaborate with R&D, Product Design, and Supply Chain
• Participate in DFMA reviews
• Implement and maintain quality systems
• Lead root cause analysis and CAPA
• Ensure workplace safety and compliance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in related engineering field
• 3+ years of experience in avionics or electronics manufacturing
• Proficiency with CAD tools (SolidWorks preferred)
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
• U.S. Citizen, National, or lawful permanent resident
