Job Description

The Senior Revenue Accountant at BambooHR will be responsible for creating and maintaining a scalable revenue accounting environment for the company's fast-growing SaaS business. This role involves applying ASC 606, supporting the monthly close process, and collaborating with various teams to ensure accurate and compliant revenue processes.

Responsibilities

• Own key parts of the monthly revenue close
• Review contracts for ASC 606 treatment
• Maintain and update SSP studies
• Draft technical memos and maintain revenue accounting policies
• Support internal controls and external audit requests
• Strengthen automation within NetSuite, Zuora, Salesforce
• Streamline workflows and improve quote-to-revenue process
• Prepare revenue waterfalls and management reports
• Partner with FP&A for revenue forecasting

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in revenue accounting or public accounting supporting SaaS clients
• Strong understanding of US GAAP, especially ASC 606
• Excellent Excel skills
• Experience with ERP or revenue recognition tools (e.g., NetSuite, Zuora)
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
