Job Description

The Outbound Sales Manager at BambooHR will lead a team of Account Executives focused on acquiring new business within the SMB segment. This role emphasizes deal progression, sales execution, and quota attainment, with a focus on developing talent and improving win rates through coaching and data-driven insights.

Responsibilities

  • Leading and developing a team of Outbound AEs
  • Coaching AEs on deal strategy and closing techniques
  • Monitoring deal progression and forecast accuracy
  • Reviewing calls and providing feedback
  • Ensuring adherence to sales methodology
  • Owning forecast meetings and pipeline coverage
  • Collaborating with Revenue Operations for process improvements
  • Supporting strategic deals
  • Partnering with Sales Enablement for onboarding and training
  • Maintaining a team culture of accountability

Requirements

  • 5+ years of SaaS sales management experience
  • 2+ years of direct outbound AE leadership experience
  • Proven track record of exceeding new logo targets
  • Deep knowledge of outbound closing motions
  • Strong coaching acumen
  • Fluency in CRM tools like Salesforce
  • Excellent forecasting ability
  • Exceptional communication skills
