Job Description

BambooHR is seeking a Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain security measures to protect systems, networks, and data. The role involves vulnerability assessments, security architecture development, incident response, risk management, policy enforcement, and employee training, with a focus on automation and AI integration.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement security architectures
• Conduct security reviews and assessments
• Lead incident response efforts
• Monitor and analyze security alerts
• Evaluate and prioritize security risks

• Provide security awareness training
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Drive automation initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 4 years of security engineering experience
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Kubernetes)
• Understanding of networking protocols and security concepts
• Experience with security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• AI/Automation mindset
• CISSP, CISM, or equivalent certifications (desirable)
