Steer is seeking a Social Media & Community Engagement Lead to be the voice of Steer & AutoOps, driving conversations and community growth across various social media platforms. This role involves creating engaging content, fostering connections with shop owners, and providing valuable insights to shape product and marketing strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Build and nurture a strong social community
  • Create and post relevant content on social media platforms
  • Act as a bridge between Steer/AutoOps and the auto repair community
  • Organize and moderate live discussions
  • Create authentic, platform-specific content
  • Leverage user-generated content
  • Keep up with industry trends
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams
  • Build relationships with shop owners and influencers
  • Translate product updates into benefits for shop owners
  • Track engagement and performance
  • Improve campaigns and content direction

Requirements

  • 4-6 years in social media, community management, or customer engagement
  • Video storytelling skills
  • Strong knowledge of Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok
  • Proficiency with design tools like Canva, InShot, and CapCut
  • Passion for B2B SaaS
  • Experience managing online communities
  • Strategic thinking and adaptability
  • Strong communication skills
  • Comfortable with occasional travel
  • Comfortable working independently
