Dataiku is seeking a Senior Data Platform Engineer to join their Enterprise Data and Analytics team. This role focuses on delivering data and GenAI solutions, contributing to the Data Platform built on Snowflake, Dataiku, and Github, and driving technical decision-making. The position involves building and maintaining GenAI platform capabilities, data pipelines, and platform automation processes.

Responsibilities

• Expert level engineering within the Dataiku Platform
• Expert level engineering within Snowflake
• Build & maintain GenAI Platform solutions
• Build & maintain Python & SQL automation
• Build & maintain DataOps processes
• Build & maintain data quality metrics
• Build & maintain administration systems
• Assist Data Engineering with data pipelines
• Design data models
• Identify improvements & optimization
• Collaborate with engineers
• Perform root cause analysis
• Drive technical & architectural decisions
• Test new features
• Work with stakeholders
• Promote the Data Platform & mentor others
• Drive innovation

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering/Data Platform Engineering/Data Architecture
• Expert level SQL & Python
• Prior experience with Snowflake
• Strong understanding of GenAI development
• Prior experience with DevOps technologies
• Experience with Dataiku DSS is a plus
• Strong understanding of data architecture
• Experience building data pipelines
• Strong analytical mindset
• Effective communication skills
• Ownership in remote environments
