Job Description

CGS is seeking an experienced Senior Data Specialist to assist with the EDRM workflow for a large Federal agency initiative. The role involves file manipulation, database indexing, quality checks, and ensuring compliance with ESI specifications. The specialist will support attorneys, investigators, and paralegals with document review and production.

Responsibilities

• File manipulation, loading, conversion, and database indexing
• Developing and modifying methodologies for file manipulation
• Ensuring compliance with ESI specifications for productions
• Exporting data from databases, confirming redactions, and quality checks
• Supporting legal teams with document tracking, processing, and production
• Managing documents and data using review tools
• Coordinating with the Technology Service Center
• Ensuring exports meet ESI specifications

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree preferred (computer science or related field)
• Knowledge of litigation discovery process and EDRM workflow
• Knowledge of Government’s IT environment preferred
• Working knowledge of Windows, document review software, and encryption
• Experience with LAW, IPRO, Relativity, or similar platforms
• Familiarity with ICONECT, MS Office Suite, and West LiveNote valued
• 2+ years’ experience in eDiscovery roles (EFP, conversion, culling, QA, database loads)
