Job Description

CGS is seeking a Senior Veritas Enterprise Vault Engineer to support legal accounts and various aspects of the company's portfolio. The role involves configuration, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of Enterprise Vault systems, as well as migration to cloud infrastructure and automation of routine tasks.

Responsibilities

• Participate in technical meetings
• Perform configurations, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting
• Record configuration change requests
• Process storage requests, migrations, and decommission tasks
• Monitor system components and coordinate support
• Respond to monitoring alerts and escalations
• Complete scheduled maintenance
• Prevent data loss and outages
• Manage technology in remote environments
• Process tickets and adhere to service level agreements
• Provide escalation for outages
• Schedule maintenance actions
• Create automation scripts
• Facilitate system migration to cloud
• Perform daily system monitoring
• Apply OS patches and upgrades
• Configure new services
• Research and recommend innovative approaches
• Prepare technical assessments
• Provide before/after core hour work

Requirements

• Experience with Veritas Enterprise Vault
• Experience with Windows Servers (physical and virtualized)
• Knowledge of change control processes
• Scripting skills (PowerShell, VBS)
• Cloud migration experience
• Strong attention to detail
• Remote environment management skills
• Understanding of service level agreements
• Top Secret Clearance
