Job Description

CGS is seeking a Senior Veritas Enterprise Vault Engineer to support legal accounts and various aspects of the company's portfolio. The role involves configuration, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of Enterprise Vault in both physical and virtualized Windows Server environments.

Responsibilities

• Participate in technical meetings
• Perform configurations, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting
• Record configuration change requests
• Process storage requests, migrations, and decommission tasks
• Monitor system components and coordinate support
• Respond to monitoring alerts and warnings
• Complete scheduled maintenance
• Prevent data loss and outages
• Manage technology in remote environments
• Process tickets and escalate outages
• Schedule maintenance actions
• Create automation scripts
• Facilitate system migration to cloud infrastructure
• Perform daily system monitoring
• Apply OS patches and upgrades
• Configure new services
• Research and recommend innovative approaches
• Prepare technical assessments
• Provide before/after core hour work

Requirements

• Experience with Veritas Enterprise Vault
• Experience with Windows Servers (physical and virtualized)
• Experience with PowerShell and VBS scripting
• Knowledge of change control processes
• Ability to monitor and troubleshoot system components
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work in remote environments
• Understanding of service level agreements
• Experience with cloud infrastructure migration
• Top Secret Clearance Required
