Job Description

CGS is seeking a highly skilled Senior Auditor to provide general auditing and accounting services in support of fraud investigations involving potentially complex financial transactions. The ideal candidate will develop audit guidelines, is proficient in accounting systems, and practices excellent communication throughout investigations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct financial analysis
• Conduct open-source intelligence and database research
• Analyze healthcare claims datasets
• Design and run SQL queries
• Extract and manipulate federal health claims data
• Prepare analytical summaries
• Summarize transaction histories
• Evaluate allegations of fraud
• Assist with development of investigative plans
• Work collaboratively with attorneys and investigators
• Deliver oral briefings and written reports
• Support development of internal best practices

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree minimum, CPA/MBA equivalent
• Certified Public Accountant
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and auditing standards
• Minimum of five years’ experience as an auditor
• Minimum three years specialized experience in subject matter area
• Extensive working knowledge of accounting and financial analysis systems
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• United States citizen
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance
