Job Description

CGS is seeking a Senior Auditor to assist legal staff with medical claims data analysis, forensic investigations, financial damages, statistical sampling, and ability-to-pay analyses. The role involves complex investigations, settlements, and recovery efforts, requiring a skilled and creative individual to contribute to government innovation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial records to identify payments, kickbacks, and assets
• Calculate ability to pay settlements and judgments
• Analyze healthcare claims and data
• Create financial damage models
• Conduct asset valuation and records reconstruction
• Develop computerized models for financial evidence
• Report on financial data and evidence
• Communicate findings to attorneys and investigators
• Prepare expert reports and testify as required
• Perform training and presentations

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in forensic financial accounting, litigation consulting, or healthcare fraud analysis
• Understanding of rules of evidence and civil procedures
• Experience with criminal and civil investigations
• CPA preferred
• Certified Fraud Examiner preferred
