Responsibilities

• Receive, review, and analyze FOIA requests
• Prepare FOIA request folders
• Enter request data in the FOIA tracking database
• Draft response letters and correspondence
• Communicate and negotiate with requesters
• Coordinate searches for responsive documents
• Review records for responsiveness and release determinations
• Ensure released materials comply with exemptions

Requirements

• Six years of experience processing FOIA requests
• Knowledge of FOIA rules and regulations
• Experience redacting records
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to obtain a security clearance
