Job Description

CGS is seeking a Data Engineer to support a growing Data Analytics and Business Intelligence platform, providing solutions to federal customers. The ideal candidate will be a critical thinker and learner, building skillsets across technologies while solving complex challenges.

Responsibilities

• Develop data pipelines to store, manage, and provision data
• Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum team
• Write code for data extraction and processing performance
• Automate data ingest processes
• Adhere to lean-agile engineering principles
• Implement and document requirements
• Promote customer service, innovation, and teamwork

Requirements

• US Citizenship
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
• 7+ years of IT experience with data sets and models
• Experience developing data pipelines
• Proficiency in ETL processes
• Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, or SAS
• Knowledge of big data analysis tools
• Understanding of agile and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL
• Experience with Git Repositories
