Job Description

CGS is seeking an experienced Desktop/Workstation Design Engineer to participate in architecture discussions, system reviews, design planning, and technology roadmap planning for current and future desktop integration efforts. The role involves developing and implementing desktop OS images, deploying software, and providing support for OS patching and security.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Desktop OS Images
• Engineer solutions for large-scale software deployment
• Develop and implement software distribution packages
• Provide information and recommendations for user software requirements
• Implement server OS deployment methodologies
• Support OS patching infrastructure
• Analyze and recommend desktop/server hardware
• Perform security related tasks

Requirements

• Windows OS engineering experience
• Understanding of security controls on images
• Microsoft Office engineering experience
• Integrating anti-virus applications
• Windows Scripting experience
• Experience upgrading Windows 7 to Windows 10
• Experience with litigating software (Ipro, Concordance)
• Ability to work independently
