Job Description

CGS is seeking a Digital Forensic Analyst focused on the preservation and collection of mobile device and cloud-stored data. The candidate should be proficient in forensic technologies and eager to contribute to a growing forensics department, involving both on-site collection and in-office work.

Responsibilities

• Perform forensic data collection and analysis
• Coordinate with legal teams and IT departments
• Maintain forensic toolset
• Work on complex projects with deadlines
• Develop and refine procedures
• Manage chain of custody
• Adhere to standard operating procedures
• Perform quality checks
• Complete additional IT functions

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Digital Forensic Science or Computer Science/Engineering
• 1+ years of relevant experience
• Experience with EnCase, Cellebrite, Oxygen, FTK Imager, MacQuisition, X1 Social Discovery, Logicube Falcon
• Understanding of Mac/Windows filesystems, mobile devices, and encryption
• Experience preserving various data sources
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to work extended hours
• Strong organizational skills
• Willingness to travel
• Ability to work independently and in a team
