Job Description

CGS is seeking an IT Project Manager to design, develop, and oversee IT projects for a large federal entity. The PM will be responsible for project planning, resource assessment, implementation, and acting as a team lead or liaison. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience with continuous business process improvement.

• Prepare progress reports
• Manage risks and issues
• Develop initiatives for process improvements
• Manage team decisions
• Update business process documentation
• Manage project management process
• Deliver agile transformation plans
• Assess program performance
• Implement agile tools
• Monitor cost and quality
• Prepare technical analysis reports

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field
• 5+ years of project management experience
• 5+ years managing IT projects
• 5+ years in information system design and development
• Knowledge of API management and RESTful APIs
• Experience with RDBMS and NoSQL databases
• 5+ years managing Agile scrum teams
• Experience working with public agencies
• Programming experience in Java and JavaScript
• Experience in health and human services domains
