Job Description

CGS is seeking an IT Project Manager to design, develop, and oversee IT projects for a large federal entity. The PM will be responsible for project planning, resource assessment, implementation, and acting as a team lead or liaison. A strong understanding of Agile methodologies is required.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope and schedule
• Lead project meetings
• Prepare progress reports
• Manage risks and issues
• Develop business process improvements
• Manage team decisions
• Update business process documentation
• Manage project management process
• Deliver agile transformation plans
• Assess program performance
• Implement agile tools
• Monitor cost and quality
• Prepare technical analysis reports

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field
• 5 years of project management experience
• 5 years of IT project management experience
• 5 years of experience in information system design and development
• Knowledge of API management and RESTful APIs
• Experience with RDBMS and NoSQL databases
• 5 years of experience managing Agile scrum teams
• Experience working with public agencies
• Programming experience in Java and JavaScript
• Experience in health and human services domains
• Knowledge of Agile SDLC best practices
