Job Description

CGS is seeking a Java developer to enhance data utilization for a large state-run project. The developer will aggregate data from various sources and plan data collection, processing, storage, and reporting. A strong understanding of large-scale enterprise systems and Java coding is required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with analysts and developers to produce software designs
• Provide work estimates and status updates
• Formulate program specifications and prototypes
• Transform designs into code
• Integrate software solutions
• Create and advance web applications
• Test and debug code
• Develop testing procedures
• Perform software upgrades
• Provide training and documentation

Requirements

• 3+ years of Java web application development with Java Server Faces Framework
• 5+ years of Java web application UI design with HTML, CSS, and Javascript
• 3+ years of Java web application integration with SQL databases using Hibernate
• 3+ years of SQL relational database design and coding
• 5+ years of software development experience
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure
