Job Description

CGS is seeking an experienced ACE Investigator to assist with a large Federal agency initiative, focusing on investigations involving fraud in healthcare, contracting, and grants. The role involves generating investigations, analyzing data, preparing reports, and assisting attorneys with interviews and legal processes.

Responsibilities

• Generate and continue investigations involving fraud
• Meet with attorneys and agency personnel
• Perform ancillary investigation services
• Utilize electronic databases for evidence
• Prepare investigative reports
• Examine records and data
• Analyze data to develop leads
• Gather and analyze facts
• Develop and analyze evidence
• Assist with interviews and subpoenas
• Understand applicable laws
• Plan and conduct investigations

Requirements

• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, and Adobe Acrobat
• Experience with document review platforms (Relativity) is a plus
• Ability to review and understand legal documents
• Independent thinking and investigative strategy development
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and work in a team
• Professional and courteous interpersonal skills
