Job Description

dbt Labs is seeking an experienced Resident Architect to join their Professional Services team. The RA will work directly with dbt Enterprise customers, providing technical expertise, architectural guidance, and best practices to help them achieve their data goals. This role requires a strong understanding of data platforms, dbt, and the modern data stack.

Responsibilities

• Work on customer technical projects (implementation, troubleshooting, best practices)
• Provide architecture and design consultation
• Ensure strategic customers adopt the product
• Collaborate with internal customer-facing teams
• Provide feedback to product and engineering teams
• Become a product expert with dbt

Requirements

• 4+ years experience with technical data tooling
• Deep expertise in a data platform (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift)
• Experience using/deploying dbt in an enterprise setting (1+ year)
• Proficiency in SQL and Python
• Customer focus
• Strong organizational skills
• Clear communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a remote organization
