Job Description

dbt Labs is seeking a Strategic Sales Director to build out their strategic customer base in the Bay Area. This individual contributor role requires a proactive and curious sales professional with experience in complex sales cycles and a passion for analytics engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle
  • Organize POC implementations
  • Win new customers
  • Lead team projects
  • Work with product on roadmap
  • Become an expert in SQL, dbt, and data operations
  • Be an active community member

Requirements

  • 7+ years of technology sales closing experience
  • Ability to understand technical concepts
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Diligence and organizational skills
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for teamwork
  • Experience with SQL or willingness to learn
