Job Description

The Weather Company is seeking a Strategic Account Executive to drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, cultivating client relationships, and delivering customized solutions in the Restaurant, Retail, Finance, and Insurance verticals. This role involves managing the full sales cycle, from lead generation to deal execution, and requires a strong understanding of the digital media and data ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline
  • Build and maintain client relationships
  • Tailor digital solutions to client needs
  • Conduct product demonstrations and negotiations
  • Manage the sales process from lead to closing
  • Track and report on sales activities
  • Collaborate with marketing on lead generation

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Account Management or direct sales
  • Knowledge of DSP/SSP ecosystems
  • Experience developing and executing strategic sales plans
  • Proven ability to prospect and grow business
  • Understanding of the programmatic and data landscape
  • Ability to sell to senior executives
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in CRM software
  • Ability to articulate technical concepts
  • Willingness to travel
