Job Description

Trace3 is seeking a Lead Software Developer to own the stability, performance, and reliability of their lifecycle asset management platform while providing technical direction and mentorship to a team of developers. This role requires hands-on coding experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Blaze, as well as expertise in Azure and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Mentor a team of developers
• Design, implement, and review features and fixes
• Enforce coding standards and testing strategies
• Own CI/CD pipelines and environment promotion
• Manage Azure platform
• Implement logs and metrics for platform health
• Lead incident response and RCA
• Build and maintain RESTful/GraphQL APIs
• Leverage AI tools for coding and documentation
• Provide status updates to leadership

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience
• 1+ year of technical mentoring experience
• Azure expertise (AKS/Kubernetes)
• Strong Java and Spring Boot experience
• Experience with Blaze
• Experience with RESTful APIs and GraphQL
• Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM)
• Azure Data Factory experience
• Experience with Azure PostgreSQL and Redis
• Solid CI/CD experience
• Observability tooling proficiency
