Job Description

The Account Executive II supports the State, Local Government, and Education (SLED) Sales Vertical by leading and executing strategic sales initiatives. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with key decision-makers, and delivering tailored technology solutions to meet customer needs, managing a quota of approximately $1M-$1.5M.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans
  • Prospect and pursue new business opportunities
  • Negotiate and close contracts
  • Expand revenue within existing accounts
  • Understand customer business objectives
  • Maintain accurate CRM records
  • Represent Trace3 at events

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Account Executive experience or 7+ years equivalent sales experience
  • Proven ability to manage a $1M–$1.5M annual quota
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in IT, Engineering, or related field
  • Success selling technology solutions within SLED or public sector
  • Consultative selling, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office
