Job Description

The System Administrator II provides advanced system administration, maintenance, and support for government clients. This role ensures the availability, performance, and security of IT infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments, requiring strong technical expertise and customer engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows/Linux servers
• Troubleshoot system, network, and application issues
• Monitor system performance and implement optimizations
• Support patching, updates, and server lifecycle tasks
• Support Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and virtualization platforms
• Implement and maintain security baselines and hardening activities
• Provide Tier II/III support
• Create and maintain system documentation
• Participate in infrastructure improvement projects
• Interface with government clients

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent
• 3–5 years of system administration experience
• Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure
• Knowledge of cybersecurity practices
• Ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance
• DoD 8570/8140 Baseline Certification
• U.S. Citizenship
• Experience with automation/scripting is a plus
• Experience with configuration management is a plus
