Job Description

This role is for a senior reporter to provide exclusive content on transactions in the power and energy infrastructure sector, including M&A and financing deals. The reporter will work closely with the Infralogic energy team in the US, building relationships with industry participants and generating news and in-depth analyses.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with investors, advisors, and bankers
• Track deal and firm activity
• Generate ideas for longer-form coverage
• Write exclusive stories and long-form pieces
• Record podcast episodes
• Assist with content creation for events
• Collaborate with editors and colleagues
• Maintain high standards of copy and compliance

Requirements

• Knowledge of financial markets
• Knowledge of the US energy sector
• 3+ years of reporting experience
• Proven record of breaking news
• Ability to spot trends in market data
• Track record of building a network of sources
• Strong writing skills
• Ability to work collaboratively
