ION Corporates is seeking a Senior Business Consultant to join their Delivery Services team. This role involves providing software and industry expertise to clients in the energy and commodities sector, participating in project implementation, and offering guidance to other consultants. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of trading, risk, accounting, and scheduling concepts within ETRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide industry and functional advice
• Present the Product solution to client users
• Support Technical Consultants
• Determine business requirements
• Demonstrate deep knowledge in Product configuration
• Provide guidance to Business Consultants
• Assist with professional services best practices
• Implement projects in all phases
• Gather and document requirements
• Keep managers informed
• Adhere to implementation best practices
• Follow documentation standards

Requirements

• Implementation experience with Aspect application or relevant ETRM background
• Strong knowledge of Trading and Risk concepts
• Experience with physical and financial instruments
• Implementation experience with invoicing and settlements
• Strong knowledge of scheduling concepts
• Industry knowledge in Natural Gas, Crude, etc.
• 5+ years of experience in designing, configuring, and troubleshooting installations
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Economics, or related IT field
• Ability to work as part of a project team
• Ability to work onsite at client locations
