Job Description

This role involves overseeing the execution and completion of information technology solutions projects within the professional services arena. The Project Manager will be responsible for budget analysis, labor planning, and coordinating activities between client and company personnel, ensuring projects meet revenue and cost projections. They will also lead and develop a team of professionals.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-disciplinary teams
• Manage ION resources and HR issues
• Serve as client point of contact
• Manage project P&L
• Manage project change control
• Plan and coordinate project tasks
• Optimize resource utilization
• Inform management of project issues
• Manage client expectations
• Coordinate client participation
• Provide project status reports
• Coordinate meetings
• Manage software releases
• Prepare and obtain client signoff
• Maximize chargeability
• Mentor consulting staff
• Enhance implementation best practices
• Conduct employee performance appraisals
• Provide sales support
• Travel up to 50%

Requirements

• 5+ years of project management experience
• Experience in Energy, Commodities, Treasury, Banking, or financial services preferred
• Excellent client-facing skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work onsite at client locations
• Proven leadership skills
• Prior experience with structured project management
• Willingness to travel
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• PMP certification preferred
