Job Description

Lab49 is seeking a Senior Business Analyst / Product Owner to deliver software solutions for financial institutions, focusing on risk domain knowledge, technology, and product ownership within Market Risk, Credit Risk, and Counterparty Risk systems. The role involves analyzing, designing, and delivering enterprise-grade platforms for risk data management, analytics, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Liaison between business and technology teams
• Analyze and document current/target architectures
• Elicit and define requirements
• Own and maintain product backlog
• Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and quants
• Support integration of risk platforms
• Ensure platform alignment with regulatory requirements
• Participate in UAT, system testing, and change management
• Develop and maintain documentation
• Track progress and ensure timely delivery

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or hybrid role in financial services
• Deep understanding of risk data flow and calculation
• Strong experience gathering and documenting requirements
• Hands-on experience in Agile environments
• Solid understanding of risk data architecture
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders
• Excellent analytical and documentation skills
